Context 1 (a way of life)
Generating WEB 3.0 learning with video clips show us how mobile learning will effect vocational education in the near future.
The world of the use of streaming- and multimedia is mainstream under students.
Video clips from mobile phones, i-phones and/or digital photo cameras, made as "drive by shootings" from all kinds of events can be shown all over the world in a few minutes.
It is also the way of how students learn and live already.
Context 2 (sharing and globalising)
With WEB 3.0 learning students will be able to accomplish their learning targets and results without institutional (colleges and teachers) interfering.
Knowledge and information cannot be held hidden behind books and examinations.
Knowledge is getting more and more a tool for sharing information and globalising communication .
Communication tools like, Facebook, Myworld, Hyves,Msn,YouTube,Splashcastmedia, and videobattles, generate the global possibilities of solving problems, learning skills, using information and meeting people.
Context 3 (the learning community)
Using video clips in a WEB 3.0 learning environment uses the monadic (Leibnitz) power of imagination that brings you not only from A to B, but everywhere (A. Einstein).
So education also changes from consuming information (internet) via interaction with information (Web2.0) into the world of user generated content and generated socializing learning communities (Web3.0).
And our students are part of it by now.
Context 4 (a brief history)
1993-2000:

Social media syndication, 2007; Splashcast
Context 5 (the workshop)
Therefore we will show you in this workshop with some national and international examples, the different ways of how you can use Web 3.0 video.
You will also see and feel how you can use new ways of communication and interaction in a WEB3.0 learing environment with video clips in Splashcastmedia and YouTube.
You will also learn how you can use video clips, made with simple tools like mobile phones, i-phones and or digital camera's, in a simple and structured way.
The only thing you need is some sense of humor and creativity.

Discussion
What is your first reaction about developing on-line video courses or materials, all by yourself?
What do you think will go wrong?
Do you think the results of your students will be better (measurable)?
What, do you think, will be the driving force for this way of teaching?
Did you get any new ideas?
What would you tell your colleagues ( tips&tricks or conclusions)?
