  2. 2. Connecting CloudBerry Backup with Google Cloud Storage account First of all you will need to register Google Cloud account with CloudBerry Backup. To do this: 1. Go to the Google Cloud Console - https://console.developers.google.com. You will have to log in under your Google account. If you don’t have one you will be prompted to create one. 2. Select your project from the list.
  3. 3. Retrieving Access Keys To connect CloudBerry Backup with Google Cloud Storage account you will need "Access Key" and "Secret Key“. To retrieve the keys: 1. Go to the “APIs” portion on the left side menu in the Google Cloud Console. Note: make sure Google Cloud Storage API is turned on. 2. Click on the “Google Cloud Storage” link.
  4. 4. 3. Click on the “Quota” or “Reports” link. 4. Click on the “Google Cloud Storage” portion. Note: If your current project is not yet selected as a default project for interoperable storage access, click on the “Make this my default project for interoperable storage access” button.
  5. 5. 5. Click on the “Interoperable Access”. 6. Now you can see your “Access Key”. Click on the “Show” button to see your Secret Key. Having "Access Key" and "Secret Key" you will be able to connect CloudBerry Backup with your Google Cloud Storage account.
  6. 6. Connecting CloudBerry Backup with Google Cloud Account 1. Run CloudBerry Backup. 2. Click on the “File” menu and select “Google Storage”.
  7. 7. 3. Specify any Display name of your choice. 4. Enter “Access Key” and “Secret Key”. If keys were entered correctly, you will see the list of your existing buckets. 5. Select a bucket and click “OK”. If everything is done right, now your Google Cloud Storage account is connected to CloudBerry Backup. You can proceed to creating a backup plan.
  8. 8. Creating a Backup Plan 1. Click on the “Backup Files” to run the Backup Wizard. 2. Select Google Cloud account from the drop-down list. 3. Proceed with the Backup Wizard steps and finish creating a backup plan. 4. Run a backup plan.
