  • Why do you want to use SM? What do you hope to accomplish. Like anything else you need to set a mission. ; Different avenues can be taken. What “voice” will you use? Can be different focuses for different companies.
  • Content is best way to interact w/customers & public to establish relationships.
  • Use your profile photo to advertise. You have the realty so use it! Good rule of thumb is to design something with your name or logo, a photo & a call to action w/a url. If you have branding use it!!! * Also be concious of thumbnail crop.
  • INFO TAB. Often overlooked b/c it doesn’t have any bells or whistles, but one of the most viewed tabs on FB pages. Make sure to put good content! Google crawls info page.
  • Custom Tabs. Pull up FB & show a couple other custom tabs.
  • Dorm Room Makeover Campaign for Annie Laurie’s Antiques on Facebook designed and implemented using profile picture, custom tab and jpegs of flier.
  • Establish authority in your industry. Share resources with followers & digest resources from those you follow. Networking: ElissaPlastino story. Use branding on profile…match your web & social media presence.
