C.S. Lewis lived from 1898 to 1963 in Headington, England. He is most known for writing The Chronicles of Narnia series of novels. Lewis lived at a home called The Kilns in Headington from 1930 until his death in 1963. The Kilns, built in the 1920s, is now a public place where people can visit the house, gardens, and grounds where Lewis lived and wrote many of his famous books. Lewis died suddenly of a heart attack at The Kilns on November 22, 1963, the same day as John F. Kennedy. He was buried at Headington Churchyard near his home.
