Slide 6: How YouTube Works Users upload videos to YouTube in either QuickTime, AVI, or MPEG formats YouTube converts these into Flash FLV format Users view videos in a web browser (must have Adobe Flash Player installed) All videos are stored on YouTube’s servers Streaming video, not downloading Almost immediate video playback is possible with a broadband connection
