    • An online auction and marketplace where people buy and sell goods and services.
    • Worldwide user-base
    • A lot of people use it (168.1 million registered users as of September 2005)
    • A lot of business is conducted ($10.8 billion Gross Merchandise Volume)
  3. what exactly can I do on eBay?
    • BUY
    • Buyers (bidders) can find good deals on a wide variety of goods, both new and used, and services.
    • SELL
    • Sellers have the opportunity to sell their goods and services at the highest price.
