    • People had to pay taxes daily
    • There were 2 groups of citizens….
    • The Perioeci people who were
    • Protected by each law
    • And the Helots who
    • Were not
    • On the other hand….
    • Athens was amazing!
    • Lots of public places!
    • EVEN PUBLIC BATHS!!
    • Boys went to school….
    • While girls learned at home
    • They were ruled in a
    • Democracy
    • People had a say!

    • Militaristic focuses
    • And judgment
    • Sparta beliefs in
    • Greek mythology
    • Specifically Ares
    • While Athens believed in
    • Greek Mythology also
    • Specifically Athena
    • Sparta’s physical characteristics are

    • Evrotas which is a river
    • And rich soil
    • While Athens was covered with
    • streams
    • ridges
    • mountains
    • And valleys

    • And tried to overcome one

    • farming
