  • 2. How are we wasting water and how can we stop this <ul><li>One of the main way of wasting water is by leaks. </li></ul><ul><li>A way to check if you are wasting water or not is by looking at your water meter, then wait a while and not turning anything else on then see if you have a leak or not. </li></ul><ul><li>We are also wasting 25% more water than we use to. </li></ul><ul><li>Also ¼ of all fresh water is flushed down the toilet. So always think before you act (with water). </li></ul>

What is one of the best ways to save water and how much can we save in a day week month year <ul><li>Waiting for hot water to go cold or vice versa can be boring </li></ul><ul><li>But if you get something you can store the water. </li></ul><ul><li>Doing this you could save 37litres a day,259 litres a week,1135 litres a month and 13505 litres a year! </li></ul><ul><li>Another way is a bit weird but, get a plastic bag fill it with pebbles and water and put it in the toilet. This stops the amount of water going through. It also saves the same amount as the cold to warm water. </li></ul><ul><li>Some people keep the water running while doing their teeth if you stop doing this you could save… </li></ul><ul><li>11 litres a day, 77 litres a week , 330 litres a month and 4015 litres a year. </li></ul>

How can we save water on a daily basis <ul><li>Some ways to save water daily are quite easy some are difficult and expensive. </li></ul><ul><li>One of these is to get energy star equipment. </li></ul><ul><li>Another way is instead of using the dishwasher when there only a couple things wait till its full. </li></ul><ul><li>This way is quite simple just have shorter showers or to go extra get low flow shower head. </li></ul><ul><li>Also wash your fruit in a pan instead of rinsing water through onto them. </li></ul>
  • 5. Why should we save water and why do we need it <ul><li>Water is a vital substance that we need. Its one of the earths most important resources. </li></ul><ul><li>It takes up to 50-70% of an adults body. This mineral we need to grow and live. </li></ul><ul><li>But humans aren’t the only things that need water. Animals and plants also need water and other living things. </li></ul><ul><li>Humans need about 1-7 litres of water a day but, that depends if you do physical exercise or it’s a hot day. </li></ul><ul><li>Last of all a way to get water instead of having the liquid is to eat fresh fruit and vegetables. </li></ul>
