  • 3. What is the STaR Chart and why do we use it?
    • The Texas Teacher STaR Chart is a technology assessment survey that helps teachers anwser questions about their level of expertise in four areas: Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation, Administration and Support, and Infrastructure
    • It allows teachers to determine where he or she needs improvement in the technology world to be more beneficial to his or her students’ learning experiences.
    • The following are the ratings in which you as a teacher can classify your skill level: Early Tech, Developing Tech, Advanced Tech, or Target Tech.
    • We will review each of the four key areas.
    • We will review last years data for our campus.
