India alone consumes 11 million tons of plastic per year and about 5.6 million tons of which turns into waste annually. Backyard recycling techniques are used to recycle over 40% of plastic manufactured annually. However, the whole recycling process itself is not green and also results in producing lower-quality recycled products that leach out toxic additives into immediate environment. Disposal is the last stage of plastic life cycle. In India, urban municipal bodies dump them in landfills, burn them in incinerators or let them litter which leads to serious ecological problems. This high volume of waste coupled with inappropriate methods of processing it compound the problem of plastic waste management. We at ARV believe in nature’s principle of manifestation wherein, everything that materializes serves its purpose during its useful life and then disintegrates into its basic constituents to re-manifest in yet another useful form. This cycle of manifestation continues to transit matter & energy from one useful form to another.   • 2. Closed loop system – Hence 0% Pollution in output. Continuous operation process – High process efficiency, lower energy requirements & highly lucrative rate of production. Multi-layered safety design – Down time reduction & safe operations. Process in Brief De-Polymerization of plastic involves breaking down long chains of hydrocarbons present in plastics molecules into smaller components, such as - petrochemical gases & liquid fuels. This process of breaking down plastic into lighter components is known as ‘Cracking’. Thermal cracking (or pyrolysis) requires high temperature & pressure conditions. However, in the presence of a specialized catalyst, cracking can be efficiently achieved at relatively much lower temperature & near atmospheric pressure, thus making the process commercially attractive & industrially safe. This method of cracking is known as ‘Catalytic De-polymerization’.   • 3. production mode to convert waste plastic into fuel. Plant Productivity A typical output consists of about 70% liquid fuel, 20% coke & 10% petroleum gasses. The liquid fuels produced have high energy and low sulphur content, thereby, making them ideal fuel choice for the industrial usage.   • 4. as industrial application. It can also be converted into activated carbon for purification purposes. The petroleum gasses produced are used internally to meet the energy requirements of the process, thereby making the process highly cost effective. Beinga closed loop process, it allows mass & enthalpy conservation exercise to be carried out so as to establish that no material is expelled in to the environment.   • 6. Project Execution TMR’s Scope of Work: TMR’s Team constitutes of veterans from the field of process and engineering design. Our core expertise lies in developing and supplying innovative commercial technology. Hence our scope includes: Design, Supply, Install, Test and Commission the plant and machinery required for conversion of a given capacity of waste plastic to fuel on a continuous basis. Technology transfer, in the form of providing Operational manuals and Training to plant operations staff. Client’s Scope of Work: To provide 10,000 sq. ft. covered shed of 35 ft. height Power supply connection of 100 HP Water supply line to meet 2000 litres /day requirement along with 2 water storage tanks of 10,000 litres capacity each Design and construction of all civil works at site. (Tmr will provide necessary technical information) Design, supply and installation of all electrical works at site including MCC, Cable trays, cabling, switch gears, earthing, etc. (Tmr will provide necessary technical information) Acquire all statutory approvals necessary for the plant.
