“... 'not enough time to learn new things' should not be in the vocabulary.” -Nicholas Provenzano.
As learning professionals, we have a responsibility to learn about the new tools and technologies that are coming out that can help us and our organizations. We need to be life-long learners.
New tools and technologies that have emerged over the last few years have changed the way we interact and work with each other. Without actually using them yourself, many new digital tools are very difficult "get". Whether it is blogs, Twitter, social media, PLNs or any of the seemingly endless technologies that pop up on our radar, the best way to learn about them is to simply dive in and give them a try.
In this program you will be introduced to a range tools and technologies that can help you in your personal and professional development. The aim is for you to spend a little time each week learning and expanding your skills. You can easily complete the activities, usually in 15-20 minutes a week and we've even built in some periodic 'catch up' time to deal with any unexpected obstacles.
Regardless of whether you are a trainer, instructional designer, e-learning developer, learning manager, consultant or anything else for that matter we are confident you will come away from this experience with new ideas that will help you work smarter.
This program is open to anyone, so invite your friends, family, and colleagues. Do it by yourself or as a team. The more of us that participate the more we will all learn from each other. We hope that this structure enables you to fit it into your schedule and that you will join us for this valuable and fun adventure.
Participation is free and you can register at http://learncamp.wordpress.com/participants/
