    5. Differential Diagnosis
      • Rathke’s Cleft Cyst
      • Dermoid Cyst
      • Colloid Cyst
      • Epidermoid Cyst
      • Craniopharyngioma
    6. Colloid cyst of third ventricle
      • Origin: neuroepithelial? vs. primitive foregut endoderm?
      • Intermittent generalized headache (rare “classical history”), “colloid cyst apoplexy”, sudden death
      • Gross: gray pultaceous material or soft cartilage-like hyaline substance slipping out like a marble.
      • Micro: cuboidal, columnar cells, goblet cells, ciliated columnar cells
      • IHC: low- and high-molecular CK, EMA: Positive, GFAP: Negativet
