  • 2. Sean Pohle (Mike Pohle’s Brother) pays tribute to the school memorialon the 5 year anniversary of his death. He was lost in the Virginia Techtragedy.
  • 3. Stewart Field was Mike’s home away from home while playingLacrosse and Football. When Mike was not at home, he was on thefield practicing.
  • 4. An interview with Jim Meert, Mike’s former football coach at HC. Hetells a story of Mike’s football career. When Mike was a sophomore,
  • 5. Chris Walker, Mike’s former football coach also, is talking to Sean about somegood memories of Mike. He tells Sean that Mike was “always optimistic and ahard worker.” Mike was very close as a player and as a person to Mr. Walker.
  • 6. The Pohle’s Mailbox is covered in flowers sent annually from Virginia Tech. Theflowers were grown specifically for the families of the victims. Each year, thefamilies are sent new flowers. They are sent on the day of the tragedy.
  • 7. Memorial in the Pohle household dedicated to Mike and hisaccomplishments in life. The West Virginia football was given to Mikefrom his sister, Nicole Pohle. The picture in the upper left is Mikeplaying lacrosse at Virginia tech.
  • 8. Memorial in Sun Ridge park dedicated to Mike. This was provided by the SunRidge community. The memorial was dedicated three years ago and wascompleted in just a few months.
  • 9. Memorial in Virginia Tech. This picture took place one week after the eventhappened. The orange flowers to the right are those for Mike. This picture is fromthe Virginia Tech school website. The whole student body, faculty, and localcommunity were present.
