  • THE NEW UXPA IS• Rebranding and expanding the UPA to include a wider group of practitioners: • Information Architects • Application Interface Designers • Front-end Developers • Visual Designers • Project Managers • Experience Designers • And more…• While still maintaining a connection with Usability Professionals
  • THE UXPA POSTER CHALLENGE Explain/Show how theUX / UCD process works
  • WHO IS THE USER (AUDIENCE)?• User Experience Professionals• Team Members/Departments• Internal/External Stakeholders• Clients• Others
  • WE ONLY NEED THE CONCEPT Not the real deal!
  • CONSIDERATIONS• The poster needs to be “timeless” and reflect the mission of UXPA• The poster will be a standard size of 2’x3’ • Portrait or landscape orientation is acceptable• The poster will need a space for the new UXPA logo• The final poster will be printed in 4-color
  • DEFINITION: USER EXPERIENCE• Every aspect of the users interaction with a product, service, or company that make up the users perceptions of the whole. User experience design as a discipline is concerned with all the elements that together make up that interface, including layout, visual design, text, brand, sound, and interaction.
