The Alienist and The Underdogs The Alienist and The Underdogs Presentation Transcript

    • The alienist&The underdogs
      A review by Terry Onley
    • Sarah Howard was trying her best to break
the “sex barrier” and become a member
      of the NYPD.
Talented and determined, she looks to have
a good chance of doing so, but leaves the
force to become a private investigator…
    • Stevie Taggert came into Dr. Kreizler’s
      care after he successfully defended
himself from sexual assault by a guard at
      Randall’s Island…
    • The strength, determination, and loyalty of
Mr. Cyrus Montrose served the team well.
The two team members who participated in
the final capture of the bad guy would
probably not have survived the experience
      without his able assistance.
      Pretty tough piano player…
    • Demetrio and the guys
      fought like wild men,
      and partied like there
      was no tomorrow…
      Eventually, as often
      happens in war, there
      wasn’t.
      But until then, there
      were Federales to kill,
      white horses to ride,
      and women to…
      fight with?
    • An awful lot of the time, it seemed as though the guys
didn’t really know what they were fighting for…
Yet they fought on anyway, devoted to their uncertain cause.
    • The ending of the novel was
      stunning. The image of
      Demetrio aiming his rifle
into eternity is not one I
      will soon forget.
      Vaya con Dios,
      Demetrio…
