      • 29% of whole population uses mobile phones. - GSM Association, 2007
      • About 28% of mobile users at least once used their mobiles to connect to the internet . - Ipsos, 2006
      • In Europe mobile internet is most popular in Germany and in Italy, it is used by 34% of internet users. - comScore Networks, 2006

      • Companies and individuals have registered about 75 000 sites in the mobi domain within first 8 hours on 27 th of october 2006, when the domain was officially opened. - dotmobi, 2006
      • Many analytics sees connection between development of internet and mobile internet. Second one is considered to be developed as internet has been about 4-8 years ago. It means that the fastest development phase is beginning right now.

      • Working speed – mobile access is usually slower than through popular broadband. Technology allowing minimizing delays should be applied.
      • Navigation – specific character of mobile devices requires completely different developing. One must consider small displays, different working conditions, possibilities of using touch screens or keyboards and many more factors.
      • Proper working – there is no common technological standard for mobile devices. Sent data should be adjusted to customer's viewer. Site should also be tested on most common devices.
      • Environment – mobile users requirements are completely different than those of classical ones. An analysis of these requirements is essential for defining key things for mobile user.

      • Create a simple information architecture directed for mobile users.
      • Show no more than 5 categories on each page.
      • Show no more than 10 links on each page.
      • Always provide at least one piece of content (Avoid making pages without any content).
      • Always try to give priorities to site's content – depending on popularity or users' activity
      • Bottom of each page should include link enabling user to continue navigation.
      • Minimize page size.
      • Use good code in order to avoid technical problems.
      • Code sequence should be conformed to document structure. Use semantic coding.
      • Use access keys.
