Marketing With For Sale Signs - Presentation Transcript

    1. Marketing with For Sale Signs by:  Tina Merritt Wolkia.com
    2. Post Signs vs. Temp Signs
        • Post signs are larger and thus, give more exposure
      •
        • Post signs are sturdier
      •
        • Post signs can have more marketing items attached to them
      •
        • More professional - shows you care more about marketing
      •
        • Many RE companies contribute to the cost of post sign installation
    3. Flyer Boxes!
      • Inexpensive way to give more information about the property.
      • Downside is that flyer boxes must be maintained or they can make an agent look like he/she is not doing his/her job.
      • Some flyer boxes have a "permanent" flyer in the back so potential buyers can still get information.
      • Consider giving the flyers to your seller so they can keep the box stocked.
    4. Sign riders can bring attention to items a buyer might not be aware of or can add additional marketing exposure
    5. Text to Flyer
      • Services such as Gumiyo and Ad2Cell allow potential buyers to text to a number and get information on a property sent to their cell phone.
    6. More Marketing Ideas...
      • Offering an 800# on the sign which gives recorded information on the property and captures the buyer's information for follow up.
    7. Consider a Solar Lit Sign!
      • Solar lights extend the marketing period of your sign
      • Make your sign stand out from the others
      • Solar lights are low/no maintenance
      • Non-intrusive - light the sign but don't disturb the neighbors
      • Solar-time Signs will install the posts with lights for you.
      • You can also get solar-lit flyer boxes
    8. A Few Last Thoughts.....
      • Don't make your sign look like a flea market with mutiple riders, flyers, etc.
      • Check up on your sign regularly to make sure it reflects your professionalism.
      • If your sign company installs a post or panel that is less than perfect, send them out to replace it.
      • Use easy to read signs - don't put your picture on your signs (it takes up too much space and no one in real estate is that beautiful)
