  • Social Media is confusing and learning how to best use your time and the tools available can help you build your online presence and bring in more clients and business. When I first started using social media in 2006, it was like most people – for personal use and mostly with facebook, and then in 2008 when I started my Virtual Assistant business I found this new site called twitter and life changed for me immediately. What a cool tool!  I immediately started using twitter to network online and connect with more and more people – people I considered in my target market for my business. Within 2 months I landed my first client from Twitter – since then I have signed on more than 25% of my clients direct from social media. I regularly get calls or emails from people who have found me via online searches or through social media.  I now have a six figure service based business that was built primarily by networking online – using social media.  A good part of my business comes from referrals, but the majority comes from my online presence and that has been boosted greatly by using social media – Twitter, Facebook and Linked in are golden for businesses. If you serve clients remotely or sell products or services via a website – this can happen for you too.  The trick is knowing how to network and engage people online and use the available tools in the most effective manner possible. All the while keeping your time to a minimum because as entrepreneurs you don’t have time to waste in your busy days. That’;s what I am here to do today give yuoou three golden nuggets of info to help you with your own online marketing via social media./
