    Alumni Relations Committee Presentation - Presentation Transcript

      • Increase alumni affinity for, connection with, and a sense of pride in the College.
      • Increase student awareness of, affinity for, connection with, and a sense of pride in the College as they transition from student to alum.
      • Presence at Matriculation.
      • 3 ads in the Stentor.
      • Participation/presence in the Student Leadership Awards.
      • New England regional group emerging as model to be recreated in other cities. Success with meeting on a regular basis and 2-3 events per year.
      • Reunion Training program including webinars empowered volunteers with the tools to move forward in planning their reunions earlier than in previous years.
      • Began work to reach out to alumni to increase Gateway awareness and traffic.
      • Alumni Board Class Notes Challenge .
      • Assist Alumni Office with improving follow-up:
          • Writing thank you notes to alumni who attend events.
          • Follow-up and support alumni who contact the office wanting to host events or otherwise volunteer.
      • Create a Volunteer page on the Gateway to give alumni wanting to get involved one centralized location to find out how.
          • Include event protocol and hosting information
          • Update page as new volunteer opportunities arise
          • Have a “contact us” link that will be responded to by committee members to vet potential volunteers
      • Write monthly project-based short stories for Alumni Board E-News that can also be used in general E-News and Spectrum as needed.
      • Continue reaching out to students through Spectrum ads, Orientation, Student Leadership Awards, and Commencement.
      • Continue to empower Homecoming and Reunion Weekend and Regional Chapter volunteers.
      • Class Notes Project
          • “ Where in the World Is Lake Forest?” all-alumni challenge
