    • Types of Clouds
Those are not cotton balls, they are clouds! There are three types of cloud types. There are high-level clouds that are high up in the sky. Next, there are mid-level clouds, which are the middle of the sandwich. At the very bottom, there is low-level clouds.
    • Cirrus Clouds
Cirrus clouds are high-level clouds. That means they are high in the sky! They are thin and wispy clouds. When you see cirrus clouds, that means it’s going to be a pretty day! Those are not cotton balls, they are clouds!
    • Cumulus Clouds
Cumulus clouds look a lot like cotton balls, but they are not cotton balls! They are mid-level clouds, so they are in the middle of the atmosphere sandwich. Cumulus clouds could mean that it is fixing to get colder.
    • Stratus Clouds
Those are not cotton balls, they are clouds! Stratus clouds are low to the ground. They are usually dark gray clouds, which means they bring rain. If it is cold enough, they could bring snow and ice!
    • Cumulonimbus Clouds
There is a special kind of cloud called a cumulonimbus cloud. They are tall, like a tower, and they tend to bring thunder and lightening. So, be careful! Get where it is safe.
    • Let’s review!
