    • Students must determine what they need to know to achieve their goals.
    • Students are responsible for practicing behaviors to accomplish the best results.
    • Students are responsible for contributing to their learning community.

    • Successful teachers possess the following traits:
    • Zealous and highly conversant about the subject matter they teach
    • Perpetually learning
    • Genuinely invested in the achievement of their students
    • Passionate about teaching and learning

    • Useful technology in the learning environment should encourage creative thinking and challenge students and teachers to grow as learners.
    • Superior instructional design comprises an understanding of the aims of education and the most effective modes of realizing those goals.
  • 8. Technology and Education
    • Teachers must educate students on how to intelligently, responsibly, and effectively use technology.
    • Teachers should aim to enhance students’ creative, critical, and analytical thinking skills through the use of technology.
    • Teachers should use technology to enhance their own professional goals as well.
