  3. 3. About IPC • Established in 2000 • Formed in honor of Inman Page and George Washington Milford (Class of 1877); Ethel T. Robinson (Class of 1905); and subsequent Black graduates. • Mission: • To strengthen Brown University by directly addressing the needs and concerns of its Black alumni. • To establish a productive interaction among Black alumni, students, faculty and staff. • To channel energies toward broadening opportunities for members of the Black community in and around Brown University. • To maximize Black alumni participation in the life of the University.Brown University Black Alumni Reunion 2013 – Corporate Sponsorship Deck 3

About the 2010 Black Alumni Reunion • Accomplishments: • Theme: Black at Brown & Beyond: Careers, Community & Challenges • A total of 324 alumni attended from the class of 1948 to 2010. • Alumni gained a renewed relationship with Brown and each other. • Corporate sponsorships: • Aetna Foundation • Black Enterprise B.R.I.D.G.E. IPC Accomplishments • In 2010, hosted the first Black Alumni Reunion, the largest gathering of Black alumni and friends in Brown‟s history. • In 2011, successfully established the IPC Endowed Scholarship by raising $323,526. • In 2012, successfully established the Ruth J.
