IC f d i l id h ld ll d Learnings • IC found no single provider that could serve all needs. • The project took 2 years to design and implement. • The Project combined the capabilities of two unique systemj p q y providers who had not previously worked together. • Both companies worked with Illawarra Coal to modify their systems and services to meet our requirementssystems and services to meet our requirements. • Tickit Systems modified their database and reporting functions as they had not previously tracked legal obligations. E i E i l d d h i i• Environment Essentials expanded their services to capture mining law and provide summaries of IC licences and consent agreements.g
  10. 10. • Illawarra Coal has created a HSEC legal Compliance System • Personnel are able to understand their Legal Obligations. • User-friendly and time efficient – Environment Essential hyperlinks to legislation reside in the Tickit database. • Simple means of handover of responsibilities when incumbentsSimple means of handover of responsibilities when incumbents change. • A simple means to respond to changes in legislation.
