Have Use have + object + base form of the verb to talk about things that someone can cause another person (or an animal) to do. Object Base Form Verb The teacher had him study traffic rules. The teacher caused him to study.

Let Use let + object + base form of the verb to talk about things that someone can permit another person (or an animal) to do. Object Base Form Verb His father permitted him to drive. My dad let me drive his car.
