SIRS  <ul><li>The  Social Issues Resource Series  is an online database of magazines, newspapers & reference books relatin...
Go to the Drury Library Site:   http:// ecd.hdsb.ca /library <ul><li>…  and click on “Research” </li></ul>
Use the pull-down menu  <ul><li>Select “I want to find articles online…” </li></ul>
Select SIRS <ul><li>…  and click “GO” </li></ul>
Select a search type <ul><li>Perform a  Subject  or  Keyword  search </li></ul>
Subject Search: <ul><li>Select “Subject Headings,” enter search term in box, and click “Search” </li></ul>
Subject Search: <ul><li>Check appropriate subject headings, then click on “View Checked Subjects” </li></ul>
Subject Search: <ul><li>Look at number of articles & sources </li></ul><ul><li>Check desired items & “Update Tagged List” ...
Keyword Search: <ul><li>Select “Keyword / Natural Language,” enter search term in box, and click “Search” </li></ul>
Keyword Search: <ul><li>Look at number of articles & sources </li></ul><ul><li>Check desired items & “Update Tagged List” ...
Repeat! <ul><li>Be sure to try several searches with different subjects, keywords and keyword combinations until you find ...
