Pete Smyth – Chief ExecutivePete commenced his career in Private Equityworking with Allen McGuire & Partners, a leadingIrish Investment Firm which focused on mid marketinvestments in Western Europe. Pete moved fromAllen McGuire to Lehman Brothers Europe wherehe worked in their Investment Banking division untilhe returned to Ireland in 2003.A graduate of University College Dublin, Pete joinedone of Ireland largest Support Services Companies,Noonan Services Group in 2003. Pete wasappointed Group Chief Executive in 2004 andmanaged the Group through a period of significantorganic and acquisitive expansion.In September 2008 Pete managed the successfulsale of the Group to a UK Private Equity company.Pete holds a BA in Pure Economics from UniversityCollege Dublin and a Masters in InternationalBusiness from the UCD Graduate School ofBusiness.

Tom Smyth – Corporate Development DirectorTom commenced his career in L’Oréal’s GlobalManagement Trainee programme in London where hegained valuable retail, manufacturing & consumer goodsindustry experience. Tom moved from L’Oréal to work asa Business Development Manager for the SThree Group,the FTSE listed specialist recruitment firm. Following theGroup’s IPO in 2005, Tom left to complete an MBA inOxford University (Säid Business School). Upongraduating in December 2006, Tom joined MacquarieCapital Partners (now M3 Capital Partners), aninvestment banking/private equity firm which specialisesin corporate finance advisory, capital raising andmanaging a $2bn global real estate private equity fund.In January 2010 Tom returned to Dublin to join BroadlakeCapital to oversee the Corporate Development activities.To date, Tom has worked on over €10bn of M&A, privateequity principal investment and capital raising dealsacross Europe, the US and Asia.Tom holds a BArch in Architecture from TrinityCollege Dublin and an MBA from Oxford University(Exeter College).
  14. 14. Donal Garrihy – Investment DirectorDonal was one of the founders of Wild About Water in2003. Having established Wild About Water as agreenfield venture in 2003 he has grown the businesssignificantly through a combination of both bolt-onacquisitions and strong organic growth in recent years.Today Wild about Water in one of the leading POUcompanies in Ireland and has established a growingpresence in the United Kingdom.Donal was previously the Director of Sales and MarketingEMEA for Oasis, which was the world’s largestwatercooler manufacturer. Donal spent nine years withOasis developing their market position across Europe, theMiddle East and Asia. Donal joined Broadlake Capital asan Investment Director in 2009.Donal works closely with portfolio companies assistingthem with the implementation of their business plans.Donal holds a BComm from University College Dublin.
  15. 15. Kevin MacSweeny – Investment ExecutiveKevin started out his career as CorporateDevelopment Executive with Noonan Services Groupin 2006. Reporting Directly into the Group CEO PeteSmyth his role encompassed the sourcing, appraisaland execution of acquisitions across Ireland and theUnited Kingdom.Following the sale of Noonan Services Group inSeptember 2008 Kevin was seconded to Wild AboutWater to assist with the execution of a number of keyacquisitions. Having completed two of these bolt onacquisitions in early 2009 Kevin joined BroadlakeCapital as an Investment Executive.Kevin works closely with the Firm’s Chief Executive inthe areas of investment origination and appraisal. Heholds a BA in Economics and Psychology fromUniversity College Cork and a Masters inManagement Consultancy from the UCD GraduateSchool of Business.
  16. 16. Eamon Allen – Advisory Board MemberEamon has over 30 years experience in the Private Equity andInvestment Banking Sectors. Eamon’s career commenced withICC Bank where he was responsible for corporate lendingbetween 1977 - 1983.Eamon joined Bankers trust in 1983 and spent the next sixyears in a variety of roles in its London and New York offices.Eamon returned to Ireland in 1989 to establish Allen McGuire &Partners, a Mid Market Private Equity Firm which made sixteeninvestments worth a total of $500m over a fifteen year period.The company invested in a combination of private andpublic to private acquisitions in a variety of industry sectorsacross Western Europe.The Firm was focused on acquiring companieswith strong brands and market positionsfollowed by working closely withmanagement teams to implement operationalimprovements and growth strategies.
  17. 17. Anthony Gahan - Advisory Board MemberAnthony has over 20 years experience in the InvestmentBanking Sector. Anthony is one of the founding membersof Wyvern Partners, a boutique London based corporatefinance advisory firm. Anthony previously held seniorpositions at Lehman Brothers and Flemings.At Lehman Brothers Anthony was responsible forcoverage of the European Industrial Sector, while atFlemings his role encompassed global coverage withsubstantial exposure to Asia, Latin America and theMiddle East. Prior to joining Flemings, Anthony worked atCharterhouse and NatWest.He has advised on most types of public and privatetransactions including leveraged transactions andfinancings. Anthony is fluent in Spanish, French andPortuguese.
