      • Wii is the seventh generation Nintendo video game console, it was released in the United States on November 19, 2006.
      • The defining feature of the Wii is it’s innovative motion-sensor remote styled controller.
      • The price of the Wii is $250

      • The Wii’s signature feature is it’s motion sensor remote controller.
      • The controller seen here comes with the console but additional controllers can be purchased for $40
      • The Wii Remote does require 2 AA batteries though two batteries are available with the console when first bought.

      • The size of the Wii is 44 mm wide, 157 mm tall, and 215.4 mm when stood vertically. Making it Nintendo’s smallest console yet.
      • The Wii is powered by a IBM PowerPC-based "Broadway" Central Processing Unit.
      • The Wii supports Wi-fi connection along with Bluetooth technology.
      • The Wii plays standard 12cm Wii disks along with 8cm Gamecube disk.
      • Supports SD Memory Cards for Photo and MP3 Usage.

      • Nintendo was first founded on September 23, 1889 as a playing card company specializing in Japanese Hanafuda Cards.
      • NES or Nintendo Entertainment System was first released in North America in 1985. The Japanese Equivalent, the Famicom was released a year or two earlier.
      • The NES is responsible for the major evolution of the video game market and revival since the infamous 1983 Game Market Crash.
