    Hi, I love what you did on this presentation too. I consider it as a treasure chest. I am researching on this topic currently and will probably make a presentation on it soon. Will consider some of your slides as part of my research cards materials. Yes I still use notecard. Notecards are really useful even though they are so school 1.0.

    Keep it up. Adding you as contact.

    • provide sts with more opportunities to practice the language;
    • allow sts the freedom and independence they miss in the traditional classroom;
    • learn more about sts‘ interests and learning styles ;

  27. We can use technology to... What is it that really matters?
    • give sts the chance of playing with the language in more informal contexts , where they have more time to think and prepare what they want to say;
    • help sts learn more about technology itself , learning and communicating in the target language;
    • motivate shy sts to participate more in a “safer“ environment .
  28. A web 2.0 web based service most used BLOGS give me examples? A blog is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order. Blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject, such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of most early blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual although some focus on photographs (photoblog), sketchblog, videos (vlog), or audio (podcasting), and are part of a wider network of social media. The term "blog" is a portmanteau , or, in other words, a blend of the words web and log (Web log). "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. In November 2006, blog search engine Technorati was tracking more than 57 million blogs .

  31. Sunday, October 22, 2006 Top 5 - How to look like crazy at the elevator! :D Have you ever thought about this? It's not too difficult look like a crazy person... Here I'll put the five funniest situations, in my opinion. Enjoy... #5: Drop your pen and wait someone goes down to get it, and then shout: “Hey, it’s mine!” #4: Stay quiet and stopped on the elevator’s corner, facing the wall. #3: Make explosion noises when someone is pressing a button. #2: Open your briefcase or your bag and while you look it into, ask: “Is there enough air inside?” #1: Press the elevator’s buttons and pretend you’re getting a shock! Laugh and do it again. P.S.: It’s highly recommended to do this at home… I mean, at the elevator ;) posted by Lorena

  34. :: Stds use the blog to SHARE ideas, build their SOCIAL NETWORK and improve their writing skills Karen Stephenson states: “ Experience has long been considered the best teacher of knowledge. Since we cannot experience everything, other people’s experiences, and hence other people, become the surrogate for knowledge. ‘I store my knowledge in my friends’ is an axiom for collecting knowledge through collecting people (undated).” Chaos is a new reality for knowledge workers. Connectivism: A Learning Theory for the Digital Age by George Siemens

  40. The importance of feedback ...“when the teacher gives feedback (...), the purpose is to help and promote learning; and (to help learners understand) that getting it wrong is not bad , but rather a way into getting it right. “ Penny Ur (1996) “ What you tell me, I forget; what I discover for myself, I remember .“ Jim Scrivener (1998) Slide from Sueli Büsmayer‘s “ Can technology boost motivation?“
