Chase, Genevieve, and Bridget Cantrell. Interview by Cambell Brown. Women on the Frontlines. CNN. 15 Dec. 2009. http://www.essence.com. Web. 30 Apr. 2010. <http://www.essence.com/‌lifestyle/‌health/‌female_veterans_ptsd_goes_untreated>. This is a CNN video on women facing PTSD. The new broadcaster is interviewing a female veteran that use to serve in Iraq and an expert on PTSD. They are talking about the different issues that women are faced with in the army, and the bias opinions of the world.
HANSEN, LIANE. “Combat Vet Says Gender Bias Led To Untreated PTSD .” Newspaper Source. N.p., 21 Mar. 2010. Web. 30 Apr. 2010. <http://search.ebscohost.com/‌login.aspx?direct=true&db=nfh&AN=6XN201003211206&site=src-live>. This is an article I got from an online database. It is an overview of an interview of a female Veteran facing PTSD. It gives good insight about what a woman goes through and her individual struggle with the disorder and her attempt to receive help.
JAMES, USAN DONALDSON. “Traumatized Female Vets Face Uphill Battle.” Rev. of Veterans Administration, Geared to Men, Shortchanges Special Needs of Women. www.abcnews.com. N.p., n.d. Web. 30 Apr. 2010. <http://abcnews.go.com/‌Health/‌female-veterans-traumatized-war-fight-battle-va-healthcare/‌story?id=9979866>. This was a news article that I got off of abcnews.com I found this very useful. It helped show me different scenarios of women facing PTSD and their uphill battles against sexism in the army.
Vogt, Dawne. Email interview. 22 Apr. 2010. I did this interview to get an expert opinion on the issue of PTSD. She gave me expertise on the future of this issue and what the government was doing to prevent the numbers from increasing. She also gave me attachments and articles that I might have found useful.
    - - -. “Women, Trauma and PTSD.” http://ncptsd.va.gov. N.p., n.d. Web. 3 May 2010. <http://ncptsd.va.gov/‌ncmain/‌ncdocs/‌fact_shts/‌fs_women_lay.html>. This is the website where I found my expert. In this article, she writes and gives facts about the treatment, symptoms, history, statistics, etc. of women that have PTSD. This was all very helpful information that I used to create my multi genre elements and find my expert.
