The beta relationship on the other hand is the person you turn to when you need support. He/She is the friend you need when the world gets to you. What is beta leadership? A coach or mentor?

The Alpha and Beta <ul><li>The Greek letter Alpha is used to represent that which comes first- the primary, while the letter Beta is used for that which comes second. </li></ul><ul><li>Alpha Male - is a word that comes from ethology, among gorillas, it represent the strongest male, the leader of the pack. </li></ul><ul><li>While ethology also defines Beta, we will take a different look at it. </li></ul>
  • 3. Alpha and Beta Relationships <ul><li>If the Alpha relationship is your relationship with your husband / significant other… </li></ul><ul><li>All other relationships are Beta. Beta relationships do not threaten your primary relationship, but it compliments it and allows you to work, have friends, etc. </li></ul>
