Indications Generic Amoxil is indicated in the treatment of infections due to susceptible (Only beta-lactamase- negative) strains of the designated microorganisms in the conditions listed below:

Infections of the Skin and Skin Structure: Caused by Streptococcus spp. (alpha- and beta- hemolytic strains only), Staphylococcus spp., or E. coli. Infections of the Lower Respiratory Tract: Caused by Streptococcus spp. (alpha- and beta- hemolytic strains only), S. pneumoniae, Staphylococcus spp., or H. influenzae. Gonorrhea, acute uncomplicated (Ano-Genital and Urethral Infections): Caused by N. gonorrhoeae (males and females). Indications

Pylori Eradication to Reduce the Risk of Duodenal Ulcer Recurrence: Triple Therapy: Generic Amoxil /Clarithromycin / Lansoprazole Generic Amoxil (Novamox), in combination with clarithromycin plus lansoprazole as triple therapy, is indicated for the treatment of patients with H. pylori infection and duodenal ulcer disease to eradicate H. pylori. To help you remember to take amoxicillin, take it around the same time every day. Take amoxicillin until your prescription is finished, even if you feel better. Generic Amoxil Capsules © The Swiss Pharmacy, Geneva Switzerland Contraindications Generic Amoxil (Novamox Capsules) are contraindicated in the following cases: Hypersensitivity to Amoxicillin Trihydrate or any inactive component of the preparation. Novamox is also contraindicated in patients with a history of allergic reaction to any of the penicillins.

Please inform your doctor immediately in case you experience any of the following serious side effects: Severe skin rash, hives, seizures, yellowing of the skin or eyes, unusual bleeding or bruising, pale skin, excessive tiredness or lack of energy

Generic Amoxil Capsules © The Swiss Pharmacy, Geneva Switzerland Warnings And Precautions ➔Serious and occasionally fatal hypersensitivity (anaphylactic) reactions have been reported in patients on penicillin therapy. These reactions are more likely to occur in individuals with a history of penicillin hypersensitivity and/or a history of sensitivity to multiple allergens. Before stating Generic Amoxil therapy, careful inquiry should be made concerning previous hypersensitivity reactions to penicillins, cephalosporins, or other allergens.
  15. 15. Generic Amoxil Capsules © The Swiss Pharmacy, Geneva Switzerland Warnings And Precautions ➔If an allergic reaction occurs, Novamox should be discontinued and appropriate therapy instituted. Serious anaphylactic reactions require immediate emergency treatment with epinephrine, oxygen, intravenous steroids. Airway management, including intubation, should also be administered as indicated.

Generic Amoxil Capsules © The Swiss Pharmacy, Geneva Switzerland Overdosage In case of overdosage, discontinue Generic Amoxil, treat symptomatically, and institute supportive measures as required. If the overdosage is very recent and there is no contraindication, an attempt at emesis or other means of removal of drug from the stomach may be performed.
