  2. 2. Alphagra Tablets How Does It Work? Alphagra (Sildenafil Citrate) works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis when you are sexually excited.   6. 6. Alphagra Tablets Recommended Dosage The recommended dose of Alphagra is 50 mg which is taken, as required, approximately 1 hour before sexual activity. However, Alphagra may be taken anywhere from 4 hours to 0.5 hour before sexual activity. Based on effectiveness and toleration, the dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 100 mg. Alphagra Tablets Contraindications Alphagra is contraindicated in the following cases: ➔Known hypersensitivity to Sildenafil Citrate or any inactive ingredients present in this medication. ➔When taking nitric oxide donors, organic nitrites and nitrates, such as glyceryl trinitrate (nitroglycerin), sodium nitroprusside, amyl nitrite ("poppers") ➔Severe hepatic impairment (decreased liver function) © The Swiss Pharmacy, Geneva Switzerland

Alphagra Tablets Contraindications Alphagra is contraindicated in the following cases: ➔In men for whom sexual intercourse is inadvisable due to cardiovascular risk factors ➔Severe impairment in renal function ➔Hypotension (low blood pressure) ➔Recent stroke or heart attack ➔Hereditary degenerative retinal disorders (including genetic disorders of retinal phosphodiesterases) © The Swiss Pharmacy, Geneva Switzerland

Alphagra Tablets Warnings and Precautions The warnings and precautions when using Alphagra Tablets are given below: ➢Very rarely prolonged erection greater than 4 hours and priapism (painful erections greater than 6 hours in duration) have been reported. ➢Patients should be advised to stop use of all phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors, including Alphagra, and seek medical attention in the event of a sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes. ➢Caution is advised when Alphagra is co-administered with alpha-blockers or anti-hypertensives. Concomitant use may lead to low blood pressure. ➢Decreased blood pressure, syncope, and prolonged erection may occur at higher Sildenafil Citrate exposures. © The Swiss Pharmacy, Geneva Switzerland
  10. 10. Alphagra Tablets Storage Instructions Alphagra (Sildenafil Citrate Tablets) may be stored in a cool dry place at 25°C (77°F). Excursions permitted to 15–30°C (59–86°F). Alphagra Tablets Side Effects of Alphagra Tablets Inform your doctor immediately if you notice any of the following: Signs of allergy such as shortness of breath, wheezing or difficulty breathing; swelling of the face, lips, tongue or other parts. Chest pain, sudden decrease or loss of hearing, seizures, fits or convulsions. Very rarely your erection may persist for longer than usual. Alphagra Tablets Alphagra Tablets Overdose In studies of Sildenafil Citrate with healthy volunteers of single doses up to 800 mg, side effects were similar to those seen at lower doses but incidence rates were increased.
