  • 1.
  • 2. When the Roll is Called Up Yonder When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more, And the morning breaks, eternal, bright and fair;
  • 3. When the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore, And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.
  • 4. When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.
  • 5. On that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall rise, And the glory of His resurrection share;
  • 6. When His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies, And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.
  • 7. When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.
  • 8. Let us labor for the Master from the dawn till setting sun, Let us talk of all His wondrous love and care;
  • 9. Then when all of life is over and our work on earth is done, And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.
  • 10. When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.
  • 11. I Don’t Know About Tomorrow I don’t know about tomorrow, I just live from day to day; I don’t borrow from its sunshine, For its skies may turn to gray;
  • 12. I don’t worry o’er the future, For I know what Jesus said, And today I’ll walk beside Him, For He knows what is ahead.
  • 13. Many things about tomorrow I don’t seem to understand; But I know who holds tomorrow, And I know who holds my hand.
  • 14. Ev’ry step is getting brighter As the golden stairs I climb; Ev’ry burden’s getting lighter, Every cloud is silver lined.
  • 15. There the sun is always shining, There no tear will dim the eye; At the ending of the rainbow, Where the mountains touch the sky.
  • 16. Many things about tomorrow I don’t seem to understand; But I know who holds tomorrow, And I know who holds my hand.
  • 17. I don’t know about tomorrow, It may bring me poverty; But the one who feeds the sparrow Is the one who stands by me;
  • 18. And the path that is my portion, May be through the flame or flood, But His presence goes before me, And I’m covered with His blood.
  • 19. Many things about tomorrow I don’t seem to understand; But I know who holds tomorrow, And I know who holds my hand.
  • 20. Take Time To Be Holy Take time to be holy, Speak oft with thy Lord; Abide in Him always, And feed on His Word.
  • 21. Make friends of God’s children, Help those who are weak, Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek.
  • 22. Take time to be holy, The world rushes on; Spend much time in secret With Jesus alone.
  • 23. Abiding in Jesus, Like Him thou shalt be, Thy friends in thy conduct His likeness shall see.
  • 24. Take time to be holy, Be calm in thy soul, Each thought and each motive Beneath His control.
  • 25. Thus led by His Spirit To fountains of love, Thou soon shalt be fitted For service above.

  • 27. 2 Peter 3:8-15a God’s Timing (based on The Message translation)
  • 28. Don't overlook the obvious here, friends. With God, one day is as good as a thousand years, a thousand years as a day. God isn't late with his promise as some measure lateness.
  • 29. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn't want anyone lost. He's giving everyone space and time to change.
  • 30. But when the Day of God's Judgment does come, it will be unannounced, like a thief. The sky will collapse with a thunderous bang,
  • 31. everything disintegrating in a huge conflagration, earth and all its works exposed to the scrutiny of Judgment.
  • 32. Since everything here today might well be gone tomorrow, do you see how essential it is to live a holy life?
  • 33. Daily expect the Day of God, eager for its arrival. The galaxies will burn up and the elements melt down that day ‑ but we'll hardly notice.
  • 34. We'll be looking the other way, ready for the promised new heavens and the promised new earth, all landscaped with righteousness.So, my dear friends,
  • 35. since this is what you have to look forward to, do your very best to be found living at your best, in purity and peace. Interpret our Master's patient restraint for what it is: salvation.
