As you will see, these ideas are very nascent, but being encouraged by E Text Editor's recent announcement of 'Opening' their company, I could not resist, and wanted to share these early ideas with the community. I wanted to provide ‘E’ with some encouragement, that there are other folks out there thinking along similar lines.

Please know that this ‘Community Assessment System’, outlined in the presentation is merely a work in progress. There are many loose ends that need addressing. I, by all means, encourage and expect rigorous and thoughtful criticism and modification. I’ve merely published it to get the conversation started.
I’ve published an ‘editable’ copy of the Spreadsheet that is referred to in the presentation.

Anyone can edit the document, so please make any changes or modifications that you think could potentially create a more robust ‘Trust Metric’ system.
Since this document will undoubtedly change over time, Here’s the unedited original version for your reference. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=piW_rf5V--tR2wEgCHSbvPA
My hope is to publish Volume 2 in the next couple months that outline additional thoughts i didn’t have time to put down on ‘paper’.
I look forward to the conversation, Ryan Schultz
