  • 2. LANDING GEAR INDICATIONS GEAR DOWN GEAR GEAR UP Will appear when all gear are down and locked Will appear when gear in transit Will appear for 10 sec when all gear are up and locked
  • 3. LANDING GEAR EXPANDED INDICATIONS
    • EXPANDED GEAR INDICATION
    • Will appear anytime:
    • Gear position disagrees with lever position or
    • Alternate gear extension is activated
    Will be displayed after a TD of 30 sec. GEAR DISAGREE
  • 4. AIR / GROUND SENSING EICAS message will appear in flight if any gear not tilted GEAR TILT
  • 5. LANDING GEAR OPERATION LANDING GEAR LEVER IS UNLOCKED WHEN: All main gear tilted and body gears are centered GEAR TILT >BODY GEAR STRG LANDING GEAR LEVER LOCKED IF: ANY main gear NOT tilted Or ANY body gears are NOT centered
  • 6. LANDING GEAR OPERATION ALTERNATE GEAR EXTEND SWITCHES Electrically releases the selected doors and gear. Gear free fall to down position and doors stay in open position EICAS MESSAGE WHEN USING ALT EXTEND: Normal GEAR DISAGREE
  • 7. LANDING GEAR SYNOPTIC GEAR DOOR INDICATIONS CLOSED BRAKE TEMPERATURE 0 to 4 – Normal range 5 to 9 – High range GEAR DOOR INDICATIONS IN-TRANSIT
  • 8. NOSE GEAR STEERING 7° RUDDER PEDALS Steer nose gear 7 degrees AUTOLAND During ROLLOUT mode of autoland, runway alignment is maintained by using rudder and nose wheel steering system
  • 9. NOSE AND BODY GEAR STEERING 70° TILLERS Steer nose gear up to 70 degrees
    • BODY GEAR STEERING
    • Steering is enabled when:
    • ON GRD
    • Speed <15 Kts
    • Nose wheel steering angle >20°
    • Deactivates >20 Kts or steering angle < 20°
    13° Displays when either body gear unlocked or pressurized when not commanded >BODY GEAR STRG Displays when either body gear not centered and either engine 2 or 3 is in T/O thrust (66% N1) >CONFIG GEAR CTR

  • 14. BRAKE SYSTEM BRAKE SOURCE LIGHT Illuminates when low system pressure is sensed in systems 4, 1, and 2 BRAKE PRESSURE GAUGE Indicates brake accumulator pressure
  • 15. NORMAL BRAKE ANTI-SKID SYSTEM BRAKE TORQUE LIMITER
  • 16. BRAKE TORQUE LIMITER Displays when 2 or more torque limiters fail on a truck BRAKE LIMITER
  • 17. ALTERNATE BRAKE ANTI-SKID SYSTEM BRAKE TORQUE LIMITER
  • 18. AUTO BRAKE SYSTEM RTO – Maximum braking applied automatically when all thrust levers retarded to Idle positions and speed >85 Kts (When in the air will reset to OFF) OFF – Deactivates and resets the system
  • 19. AUTO BRAKE SYSTEM 1, 2, 3, 4, and MAX AUTO – Increases the deceleration rate. Braking is automatic at: All Thrust Levers closed and ground mode and wheel spin-up. DISARM – Disengages auto brakes and releases brake pressure NOTE: MAX AUTO deceleration rate is less than full manual braking.
    • AUTO BRAKES will disarms after landing when:
    • Sufficient manual braking applied
    • Any thrust lever is advanced
    • Speed brake lever positioned to down
    • AUTO BRAKE selector to OFF or DISARM
