  1. 1. Department of Education Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAP) Portfolio Set-up
  2. 2. WHAT IS THE FEAP PORTFOLIO? <ul><li>The FEAP Portfolio is a white 3-ringed binder. Your AP assignments are stored in this binder. There are three AP assignments, or evidences, for every AP - a beginning, an intermediate and an advanced. There are 12 APs; a total of 36 AP evidences. </li></ul>

  5. 5. 3 Stages <ul><li>There are three stages within the Education Program that you are to show how you are engaging with and mastering the Accomplished Practices. </li></ul><ul><li>At each stage (Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced) an Evidence for every AP is placed in your binder. </li></ul>
  6. 6. How Do I Know what an Evidence is? <ul><li>If a course contains a designated AP task, then the syllabi will highlight this. </li></ul><ul><li>If you are unsure, refer to the Elementary Education or Secondary Education AP Crosswalk document. </li></ul>
  7. 7. How do I set up my FEAP Portfolio? <ul><li>For your FEAP Portfolio, you will need: </li></ul><ul><li>• a 3 inch ringed white binder </li></ul>

  9. 9. How do I set up my FEAP Portfolio? <ul><li>For your FEAP Portfolio, you will need: </li></ul><ul><li>• 12 tab labels, each with AP 1, AP2, AP 3, through to AP 12 typed on them </li></ul>

  11. 11. What are all the necessary documents? <ul><li>You will need: </li></ul><ul><li>To put in the plastic sleeve of the front cover the </li></ul><ul><li>Title Page Document </li></ul>
  12. 14. What are all the necessary documents? <ul><li>Next, you will need to: </li></ul><ul><li>2) Put in the inside pocket of the front cover the </li></ul><ul><li>Elementary AP Crosswalk, and </li></ul><ul><li>FEAP Portfolio Continuing Progress Evaluation </li></ul>

  14. 17. Next, the FEAP Portfolio Continuing Progress Evaluation document gets put in the inside front cover pocket
  15. 18. What are all the necessary documents? <ul><li>Next, you will need to: </li></ul><ul><li>3) Put in the rings of the binder </li></ul><ul><li>12 tab dividers and </li></ul><ul><li>Stick the AP labels (1~12) onto the tabs </li></ul>

  17. 21. TURN YOUR FIRST TAB DIVIDER (AP 1) OVER
  18. 22. What are all the necessary documents inside each AP section? <ul><li>Next, you will need to: </li></ul><ul><li>4) Place within each AP section the following documents in order…….. </li></ul>

  20. 24. ii) FEAP Evidence Rubric
  21. 25. iii) FEAP Evidence / Assignment
  22. 26. iv) If your Evidence is bulky, then use the AP Evidence Substitution Form
  23. 27. v) Use the Evidence Reflection Form to write a reflection on each evidence
  24. 28. vi) If any part of your AP Evidence/Reflection does not pass level 3 on the rubric, you will be given a IRP Form…..this is to help you remediate and improve!!!
  25. 29. Each iteration of an evidence must be placed with the IRB form at the end of each AP section after the AP reflection
  26. 30. Each AP Section will have three (3) repetitions of the above. One for “Beginning”, “Intermediate” and “Advanced” 1) FEAP Evidence Description 2) FEAP Evidence Rubric 3) FEAP Evidence / Assignment or FEAP Substitution Form 4) FEAP AP Evidence Reflection 5) FEAP IRP (if necessary, with all iterations/new drafts of the FEAP evidence/assignment following)
