NIGERIA This is a year of restoration. The Lord is good. The months of March and April were indeed busy months for us. Village outreaches were very successful, though sometimes rain and wild wind did not allow us to show the Jesus film. We have been at the villages of Akpabio, Ekang, Ikang, Okoyo and Enengaja. It was observed on the 17th – 23rd of March, 2014 in all the local churches. The theme considered was "Contending for the Faith" Jude verse 3. These week-long events were intended to help youth discover and develop their talent potentials and to also locate their proper places in the body of Christ. Some of the special events observed during the week included rendering of domestic services to the communities, presentation of public lectures on youth related issues, seminars, youth evangelism, and drama presentation. Some youth leaders were sent to preach in the churches with the theme of the events and were asked to challenge our churches to get ready to fight for their faith in this last days, drawing their reference from the dominance of false prophets and teachers, the depravity of the contemporary society and the fast spread of worldliness even among religious groups. The young people were challenged not to allow anybody or anything to take them away from their faith, but to rather work hard to develop an undying faith in God.

The theme was "what is the role of the preacher’s wife". Robert my son and two other friends, Timothy and Uba have recently started a revivalist fellowship. Their target is to win the young people in the university to Christ. They are taken some courses in the Bible College. During holidays. TRACTOR PROJECT: We thank God that all but $1,000 has been raised for the project. We sent the total $18,000 now so Daniel Marley and the church could purchase the equipment in time for the farming season. We trust that the remaining $1,000 will soon be donated to fully cover the cost of this project. Thanks to many of you who gave both small and large donations for this worthy cause. TRIP TO GHANA: I will be traveling with Dan Hutchinson and Wayne Meece to Ghana for the annual board meeting of the Christian Leadership Training Institute. The annual meeting is normally in September, but this year it will be in June so that Dan Hutchinson, the chairman of the board of Ivory Coast Christian Mission can participate in the meeting. Wayne Meece will also visit with Terry and Amy Ruff while there since he is field coordinator for them with Team Expansion. If time allows, Dan Hutchinson and I may travel to Tamale in northern Ghana to visit Austin Ganyo and Daniel Marley
