SPOTLIGHT: program success
The most frequently asked questions about our
Micro-loan and School Match Savings programs
(by both supporters and potential supporters) are:
Does it work?
Do they really repay their loans?
Do they really contribute to their child’s school fund?
Does it really help Haitian families stay together?
We are excited to introduce to you our new board
Sheree is from central Ohio. She is a part-time, pediatric
nurse and a 4th grade Sunday school teacher.
Sherry is from North Carolina. The daughter of a minister,
she has been actively involved in helping charities her
entire life. She is a medical coding instructor.
Both ladies have a passion for the people of Haiti and
are honored to now be a part of Invest Hope.
And the answer is...
YES! Yes they do, and yes it really does!
In three years, 60 Haitians have participated in our Micro-loan
program. Out of those 60 people, only two have not repaid their loans.
That means 96% of our loan participants have repayed or are currently
repaying their loans!

one year. Pictured left: Ginny with Amicie, who finished repaying her first loan

We are currently raising funds to build on our mission property in Peredo, Haiti!
This land will house our mission office, which is currently housed in a shoulder
bag that Ginny carries around! For the past 3 years, we have been setting up
office under a tarp with a small table. As you can see in the photo, this is not
the best set-up for a loan type program.
Plans for the land include an office and a large gazebo where we will offer
classes. This gazebo will also be open for the public to reserve for meetings,
weddings and funerals.
This is just a taste of what we dream of doing for the people of Peredo on
the mission property!
To do this, we need the funds. This is the largest fundraising task Invest Hope
has taken on! But my Father in heaven owns the cattle on a thousand hills!
(Psalms 50:10) We are trusting in Him to provide!
If you would like to help us in this, or any future project, please consider
investing hope in the future of Haiti by making a monetary, tax-deductible
donation. Our mailing address is listed below. Online donations will be
available soon. We are also looking for new partnerships with new churches
and to further/expand partnerships with churches who currently support us.
Invest Hope welcomes both one-time
and monthly contributions. If you would
like to donate to a particular program,
please indicate which program you
wish to allocate funds to by writing the
program name on the memo line of
your check. [i.e.; Micro-loan, School
Match Savings, Foster, Building]
Unmarked donations will be added to
our general funds and will be used for
