Aho Prayer Flash Mar 26 2014

  1. 1. Timothy.C.Aho@gmail.com • Tammy.Aho@gmail.com • www. Shirley, Solihull Have we talked? Give us a ring! Our stateside phone number is 507-696-9305. We have weeks of left of our travels and may still be passing through your area, particularly if you’re in SW Virginia, East Tennessee or west side of Georgia. Give us a call! Ministry Update Wow, spring has arrived in SW Virginia – at least according to the calendar! During the past 7½ weeks, we’ve experienced every season from autumn to summer and everything in between. It snowed this morning! It’s difficult to believe it’s almost April and our 2014 furlough adventure is nearly at an end. At times it’s been a whirlwind, but we’ve had some fabulous times of sharing and re-connecting with wonderful, precious people. One of our greatest joys has been spending time on our friend Peggy’s farm – a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing slice of heaven in the midst of travels. We have about 5300 road miles behind us and roughly 2000 ahead. We have some additional support to raise, but are confident God is still in control of the finances. Prayer Dates: 25th March to 14th April 25th – 3rd April T&T with friends and supporters in SW Virginia and Upper East Tennessee. 26th T&T with Central Holston Christian Church in Bristol, TN Dickens Heath Youth Club meets in the evening. 27th Reception at Emmanuel Christian Seminary (2.00pm) organized by President Sweeney; meal and lodging with friends Palmer and Tina. 28th Lunchtime meeting with Central Christian Church (Bristol, VA) minister and missions team; thethirdplace gathers (UK). 29th T&T with Ann & Paul, friends from our time in 30th T&T with Central Christian Church in Bristol, TN (am) and Damascus Church of Christ in Damascus, VA (pm). We are so happy that she will soon be closer to family. We were able to chat recently with both Andrew and Jess. Both are well, enjoying spring in the Southwestern part of the US and keeping very busy. Jess thoroughly enjoyed participating in her friend Caitie and Drew’s wedding a couple of weeks ago Orange, CA. During Andrew’s week off, he made a last decision to drive to the Grand Canyon. He said the scenery was breathtaking and the weather gorgeous (each way) trip. Prayer Triggers Have you seen a Land Rover recently? chocolate (Cadbury’s preferred!)? our Team GB wristbands? With our colleagues in CMF we learned that we need to raise $2000/month to be adequately funded for the next few years. We also need to raise funds for a vehicle to replace our 2003 Ford Focus with 173,000 miles. We estimate this at $15,000. We will be making specific requests to ask folks to partner with us. Currently we have $150 of the $2000 monthly support committed; we have about to replace our vehicle. You can go to give online. Reminder Share our prayer requests with friends and church family, but please do not post them on the web or attempt to contact individuals via social media (such as Facebook) in any form.
