  4. 4. OBAMA IS A MUSLIM JUNE 2008 ON FOX NEWS AND SOME OTHER NEWS OUTLETS, PRESIDENTIAL  HOPEFUL BARACK OBAMA WAS REPEATEDLY REFERENCED TO AS  MUSLIM. OBAMA’S FORMER STEP­FATHER, LOLO SOETERO, IS  MUSLIM, ALTHOUGH HE WAS LAX IN HIS FAITH.

THE KATIE COURIC INTERVIEWS SEPTEMBER 24 2008 IT WAS PLAIN UNCOMFORTABLE AND AWKWARD TO WATCH SARAH  PALIN TRY TO APPEAR THOUGHTFUL AND WELL­SPOKEN DURING  HER INTERVIEW WITH KATIE COURIC.  COURIC: YOU'VE CITED ALASKA'S PROXIMITY TO RUSSIA AS PART OF YOUR  FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE. WHAT DID YOU MEAN BY THAT? SARAH PALIN: THAT ALASKA HAS A VERY NARROW MARITIME BORDER  BETWEEN A FOREIGN COUNTRY, RUSSIA, AND, ON OUR OTHER SIDE, THE LAND‐ BOUNDARY THAT WE HAVE WITH CANADA. IT'S FUNNY THAT A COMMENT LIKE  THAT WAS KINDA MADE TO … I DON'T KNOW, YOU KNOW … REPORTERS. COURIC: MOCKED? PALIN: YEAH, MOCKED, I GUESS THAT'S THE WORD, YEAH.

  8. 8. “A MORE PERFECT UNION” MARCH 18 2008 OBAMA POVIDED SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ELECTION. HIS  SPEECH ON RACE AND THE SUBSEQUENT MEDIA COVERAGE, WAS  THE CLIMAX OF THE MEASLY DISCUSSION ON RACE DURING THE  ELECTION.
  9. 9. HIGH VOTER TURNOUT NOVEMBER 4 2008 BESIDES THE OBVIOUS HIGHLIGHT OF OBAMA’S VICTORY, HIGH  VOTER TURNOUT FOR BLACKS AND ALL MINORITIES DEFINITELY  MADE OBAMA'S VICTORY EVEN NICER.
