  • ( And a dash of inspiration. )9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -18-
  •  The power of perception!  Joshua Waldman, author of Job Searching with Social Networking for Dummies  Edward Colozzi, author of Creating Careers with Confidence  Nancy Anderson, Blackbird Learning Associates and author of Job Searching for Moms  Amy Adler, founder of Salt Lake City, Utahs Inscribe / Express, a résumé and career strategy company9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -20-
  • Joshua Waldman says: “For anyone looking for a first job, exploring a career change, or just setting up for future success, social media sites are proven platforms for facilitating connections, and ultimately landing the job.” He can be found on Linkedin and Facebook. Find Joshua Waldman’s book on Amazon.9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -21-
  • About Edward Colozzi – He pioneered and coined the “career-life” paradigm over three decades ago. He says: “My life’s work is helping as many as I can worldwide to discover their God-given callings, one client at a time.” Go to his website for his 30- minute recording and free workbook. You can also find him on Linkedin and Facebook. http://www.creatingcareerswithconfidence.com/ Find Ed Colozzi’s book on Amazon.9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -22-
  • Nancy Anderson is founder of Blackbird Learning Associates, specializing in job search training. Her motto is simple: “I help each client take their broken wings and learn to fly again. Look to the past with gratitude and the future with confidence.” Find her on Linkedin and Facebook. Find Nancy Anderson’s book on Amazon.9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -23-
  • Amy Adler says: “Call me the job search partner of savvy job seekers. I make you look as good on paper as you do in person and am the only certified resume writer with an MBA and a master of arts in publishing.” Find her on Linkedin and Facebook. http://www.inscribeexpress.com/resumeblog/9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -24-
  • Please avail yourself of these resources. Buy the books. Learn who you are and how to get your name out there! Make contact with them. I have. They are here to help. Each one has impacted my life. Each one can help you too!9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -25-
  • 9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -26-
  •  The power of networking!  Make friends with recruiters. Just remember, trust takes time!  Be a resource for your hiring friends. Refer quality people to them. They will remember you.  Encourage your job searching friends. You know how you do and do NOT wish to be “encouraged!”  Exude a selfless approach versus self serving – we are not here just for ourselves but to serve others.9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -27-
  •  All of these are true stories!  Joshua Waldman reached out to me about his book, now his gesture ripples out to you  Nancy Anderson shared her expertise with me and now this spreads to you  My “chance” meeting with Amy Adler at Chick-fil-A will be a future blog called The Power of Networking  And of course how Ed Colozzi reached out to me and can help you is a true example of giving, read that story here! The way of giving works if we will work it!9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -28-
  • 9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -29-
  •  The power of the Divine in your Destiny  Could actually have been our first point – for we should not proceed in job hunting without God’s guidance, if we claim to believe in Him  I had prayed for God to send someone into my world, that answered prayer was in the person of Ed Colozzi  I had also prayed for a job, and Chick-fil-A was the one and only non-sales door that opened9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -30-
  • 9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -31-
  •  The power of the Divine in your Destiny  Ask God to bring you to what He wants, not just what you want or what you should do but rather who you should be – that is what matters!  Ask God to help you discover your calling9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -32-
  • THE GREAT GOD WHO MADE ALL WE SEE IS HUMBLE ENOUGH TO LISTEN TO YOU AND ME.9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -33-
  •  Guidance – be sure to buy the books and click the links throughout Giving – help others and you will help yourself – the good you do will in time ripple back IF you give for the right reasons and not to get God – seek Divine help in your destiny.9/22/2011 The 3Gs of Job Searching -35-
