Religion Rules The Nations And Societies In General - Presentation Transcript

    1. Religion rules the nations and societies in general Religion has become a major social climate in almost every nation and to any society in general. It can dictate the weather of the lives of the people and can freely influence their decisions. No matter whom we are or what we do, as long as we have religious affiliations we could not deny the fact that the very structure of it can rule our lives. Politicians, professionals, students, husbands, wives, and children are all driven by the forces of religion towards living life to the fullest in a righteous way. Christianity is the world's largest religion whose roots can be traced back 2000 years ago during the time of Jesus of Nazareth. It may not be the oldest religion ever existed in mankind, but it is indeed the most influential and significant contribution of religion to humanity. Despite the gap in races, when we speak of Christianity we are bonded together with one common belief -- the belief that Jesus Christ is the Messiah who gave his life to save the world from the condemnation of sins. For Christians, Jesus is the center of their lives and almost everything. His teachings and His life in general are taught until today and for the years to come making it the greatest story ever told. It was written in the Bible that He is the son of man who will bring forth salvation to the land and deliver the people of God from the burning fires of hell. He had to sacrifice Himself to the cross in order to redeem the sins of mankind. After His death, Christians showed their faithfulness to Jesus by making items that signify the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. Crucifix, the Holy Bible, lucky charms, pendants, garments, and almost any item can be used to remember His greatness. This is one good example why faith in Him will never be lost despite the changes we all have to face.
