  3. 3. Ulcerative Colitis causes ulcers to form along the inner lining of the colon. Crohn’s Disease - parts of the small and large intestines (and may cause problems at other points along the gastrointestinal tract.)Page  4
  4. 4. Symptoms Despite these differences, Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease can cause similar symptoms, including: •Recurring diarrhea •Abdominal pain •Weight loss and malnutrition •Fatigue •Blood in stool, which can lead to anemiaPage  5
