  3. 3. Mark Twain was born November 30, 1835. On the day he was born Haley’s comet blazed through the midnight sky.<br />When the comet passed out of the sky on the night of April 21, 1910, Mark Twain breathed his last breath.<br />

  14. 14. Unlike any of his other fiction because it is more like a travel guide, giving a description of the Mississippi before and after the Civil War</li></li></ul><li>Life on the Mississippi depicted Mark Twain’s real life experiences as a steamboat pilot on the Mississippi.<br />
