This Guide focuses on getting Sims enrolled at the University and what you can do to make
their college lifestyle better. When you start a new game with University Life, a mascot from
the college will arrive on the first morning and leave a welcome kit.
For more information visit our site: shareware files on this blog.
This kit gives you the ability to take the Sims University Aptitude Test, which will determine
your Sim's Scholarship money and starting credits in each of the game's six Majors. If you
did not receive one, you can find the University Welcome Kit in Buy Mode > Study > Hobbies
& Skills.
At this point in the game's life, I can't expect anyone to own all of the expansions available,
so what makes University Life stand out from the rest? Out of the eight other forty-dollar
packs you can buy, what makes this one special? Not much, if you ask me. It's not bad, but
it's not great either.
And university isn’t just about hitting the books. Join a protest, flirt at a bonfire party—there’s
a lot to explore outside of lectures at the student union. With new locations like the bowling
alley and SimBurger to visit, and new activities like juice pong and spray painting murals to
enjoy, your Sims are sure to have the time of their lives!
All in all, The Sims 3: University Life is another fun addition to the The Sims 3 collection, and
it adds a lot of new stuff to do. University Life would have been better served if it had been
released earlier, as going to college is more important and interesting in a Sim's life than,
say, werewolves.
In comparison with past expansion packs, The Sims 3 University Life provides a wide range
of varied and worthwhile content that's a great addition to any fan's base game. The
extensive amount of added activities and social interactions make up for the few oddities
while attending class. No matter if an individual prefers to study or party, The Sims 3
University Life has something for every Sims fan.
If you are not a fan of leaving your Sims’ house and going away on a mini-adventure,
especially a time consuming one such as this, you may not enjoy all that University Life has
to offer. However, there are real benefits that Sims can gain from completing a degree (or
two!), including being wealthier and having more ‘personality’.
