  • A nicely balanced esign but not perhaps not quite as volumous as it could be. Also...would we be able to identify the word simply by looking at the above 7 x 7? I think that the answer is no.

  • Oppose- Placement works. Maybe instead of outlines, you could have white letters on a black ground?
Punch- Very strong design, great use of space.
Voluminous- Good concept, but I think a bolder typeface would define the word better.

  • Oppose:
I like the reflected word, i agree that a light gray might work a bit better than the outline. Nice symmetry though.
    Punch:
I think this is great, wouldn't improve.
    Voluminous:
It's hard to express this word in a 7x7 square. I think it works in that they are filling up the page, would maybe try making the text bolder or heavier.

  • Voluminous is hard to read but i like the idea, shades, and font. Oppose: it looks like you're trying to achieve balance but the black letters distract from the outlined letters. Punch is really cool but legibility could be better.

  • Voluminous: Outlines add a lot of visual tension that isn't necessary; did you try w/out? For the rest of you, would you know what the word was just by looking at this solution? Sherri, you may also want to play w/order of letters here to give more legibility. Nice use of bleed.
