  • 1. ICT FESTIVA & COMPETENCIES 2010 Xinmin Secondary School

ICT Festiva <ul><li>ICT Festiva : 6 th August 2010. </li></ul><ul><li>Whole school affair – Refrain from organizing meetings or extra lessons during this time. </li></ul><ul><li>Each IP department HOD is to identify 2-5 entries for ICT Festiva 2010- ICT fox + 1 other. </li></ul><ul><li>Each entry will last for 15-20 minutes presentation – 5 minutes for Q and A </li></ul><ul><li>Submission of synopsis deadline for those sharing is by the 30 th July. </li></ul>
  • 3. ICT Festiva 2010 <ul><li>IP areas with at least 2 entries – English, MT Humanities and Home Economics IP area with one entry – D&T and Art Science – 5 entries </li></ul><ul><li>Total sharing sessions = about 16 </li></ul><ul><li>3-4 venues – AVA room, Xinovate room (Classroom), Library </li></ul><ul><li>Concurrent sessions with 4 entries per venue. </li></ul><ul><li>Format: 2 sessions + Break + 2 sessions </li></ul>

ICT into your Pedagogy Approach <ul><li>Whole school approach </li></ul><ul><li>ALL Teachers MAKE USE OF THE ICT COMPETENCIES STANDARDS FOR STUDENTS </li></ul><ul><li>Design and execute and submit their ICT PLAN (make use of the template) by 6 th September 2010. [This is to facilitate the qualifying of the baseline standards for each IP department]. </li></ul>
