  4. 4. sites.google.com 1) Search “googlesites” 2) If you have an account, sign in 3) If you do not have an account, “Sign up for Sites”
  5. 5. Click “Create new site” Question: I have other GoogleSites; can I set up another one? Yes, you can have 5 separate GoogleSites
  6. 6. Click “Browse the gallery for more” to find the EDCI550 template
  7. 7. s 1) Type “EDCI550” in search field 2) Click “Search” 3) Double click option, “Teaching Portfolio” 4) Click “Select”
  8. 8. Your template is now in your list and is highlighted
  9. 9. 1) Name your Site “’Your Name’ Portfolio” Ignore “URL”, “Choose Theme”, and “More Options” for now 2) Type Code as Shown 3) Click “Create Site”

Steps 1) Edit page 1) Click on “Edit page”. 2) Add Text 3) Format text 4) Save page 3) After you add text you can format using the format tools 4) When you are finished, click “Save” 2) Delete text in text box and add your own by either typing in this text box or copying text from Text box a word processing document, such as Microsoft Word, and pasting it into the text box. Note: Do not format your text in your word processor, instead format in Googlesites

Steps 1) Type required fields a) Host 1) Fill in Required Fields – “Host”, b) Webspace “Webspace” and googlesites “Username” c) Username and “Password” d) Password 2) Choose Target Directory 3) Export Web space is the last part of your URL After you select your “Target Directory” or Desktop folder, click 2) Choose Target Directory – “Open” this is the folder that you created earlier 3) Click “Export”
