  • 2. Moscow is the capital of Russia , and one oftwo federal cities of the country . Also it is the administrative center of the Federal Central District , and holds the title of Heroic City .

  • 4. In 2008 Moscow was named as the most expensive city in the world for the thirdconsecutive year. It is in addition an important political, cultural and scientific center of the country.
