Pola jajan dan snacking • Masyarakat muda makin rajin dan makin sering menambah camilan dan atau snacking dengan makanan “kue basah”, roti, “snack” sampai camilan berupa kripik, krupuk dan permen • Gejala positifnya : asupan konsumsinya jauh diatas 2100 kalori • Negatifnya : terlalu banyak karbohidrat • Trend makin baik: arah ke konsumsi protein meningkat : bakso/bakwan, sosis, burger, ayam goreng jadi dominan

Pengeluaran untuk makanan dan non makanan • Peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat mendorong pengeluaran untuk non makanan meningkat tajam • Pada golongan menengah : pengeluaran makanan berkisar 20 – 35 % dari total pengeluaran, non makanan berkisar 65 – 80 % • Pengeluaran untuk makanan di dominasi oleh protein hewani
